      On September 18th, Governor Brown signed AB1839 enhancing the California Film and Television Incentive and increasing funding to $330,000,000 per year for five years.       Memorial Information for Brother Samuel Hull

      Brothers and Sisters It is with extreme regret to have to inform you that Brother Samuel Hull passed away on September 28,  2014 from stage four colon cancer. There will be a Memorial Luncheon for Brother Samuel D. Hull  in “Celebration of his Life” at the; Veteran’s of Foreign War 3801 Market St. Ventura,  CA.

      June 13, 2013  Dear Mark, What an amazing E3 Sony Play Station Press Event we were able to have a thanks to the hard work of the IATSE Local 33 Stagehands at the LA Sports Arena. Their ability to provide a highly skilled team of stagehands was what we required to pull off such a huge event without a hitch.

      The Local 33 Office would like to remind you that prompt processing of your start paperwork is important.  The I-9 form (identity verification) is included in ALL start packets. If you think you may need to fill out paperwork please be prepared to provide either a passport or both a state ID and a social security card.  All documents must be current.

      If you are working non-union in Los Angeles County, you must notify the Business Representatives. Organizing is everyone's responsibility. The Organizing Committee now has a hotline (818) 841-5718 where any member may leave information with tips on venues or contacts for non-union shops. The Committee appreciates all your efforts to assist. ANNOUNCEMENTS:  ULTIMATELY IMPORTANT:  VERY SERIOUS ISSUES: 1. Hard hats will have to be worn while working at the Pantages Theatre and hard toe boots on a “pusher call.” 2. There will be absolutely no taking of unauthorized photos of any kind on calls, including cell phones/Facebook.  If caught doing so, you will be disciplined. 3.
